It's October and the rich fall colours are beginning in the city. It's time to put on the sweater, light coat and hat and head out into nature to find inspiration for my paintings. One of my fall themed paintings from last year is called Path on the Edge and shows trees precariously growing on the edge of a steep hill that goes into the Don Valley in Toronto. The air has a slight edge of crispness hinting at colder weather to come and all too soon, the snow. The beautiful panorama is for about two weeks and is often washed away by the first rains of the season.
